We are looking for Technical Business Development Manager at SVI to assist in planning & executing our dynamic business engagements, attract new customers, and drive the company’s go-to-market strategy.  You will work cross-functionally and build forward-looking partnerships and customer relationships that deliver on SVI’s strategic business objectives. As a member of a fast-moving & results-oriented team, you will act as a representative of the company and have a significant impact on defining, developing and executing on SVI’s commercial deployment strategy.

What you'll be doing

  • Expand SVI's current strategic customers base, create new business opportunities and define new strategic applications for our product
  • Create and clearly communicate compelling content that deliver measurable results on our strategic partnership targets
  • Draft persuasive technical presentations which highlight SVI’s product technology for customers specific needs
  • Act as a direct representative, sales and relationship manager for SVI to multiple customers and partners
  • Manage relations for key strategic partners across partnership lifetime, organize customer meetings and act as first point of contact for customer projects
  • Gather, clarify and manage customer requirements and ensure implementation within SVI’s products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, program management, legal and finance to meet our commercial and product development goals

What you have

  • 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, supply chain management, and/or technical program management in the technology sector.
  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in engineering, technical business administration
  • Proven ability to develop, foster and maintain high-quality relationships with counterparts and leaders with partners in large companies and emerging up-starts
  • High conviction and a clear-minded strategic thinker. Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal skills and strong negotiation experience.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills.
  • Self-starter and ability to drive to actionable results with little guidance. 
  • Highly motivated about SVI and its mission in the future of biometrics and other related fields of uses.
  • Strong attention to detail, and a high sense of urgency on delivering on goals; ability to thrive in ambiguity and inside a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working cross-functionally on hardware and software systems, particularly with product, engineering and business teams with external partner stakeholders
